Inspired by the woven crafts many of us made as children, MOKA bags bring a familiar tradition into everyday life. Handwoven in a small village in India from recycled materials, each bag is made using traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Lightweight, durable and practical, they're designed to be used every day. Whether you're heading to the market, the beach, a yoga class or a weekend away, there's a size to suit your needs.

Because every bag is handmade, no two are exactly the same. Small variations in color, shape and weave are part of what makes each piece unique. Each bag comes with a silk pouch made from vintage saris, perfect for keeping your essentials organized.

Dimensions: approximately 21 × 17 × 10 cm. Each bag takes around 3 hours to weave by hand.

Carry it by hand or wear it with a shoulder strap. Some of the baskets can also be worn over the shoulder thanks to slightly longer handles (please refer to the photos or contact us if you're unsure).

Our bags and accessories are woven from recycled plastic made from plastic waste. The material is transformed into wires and then handwoven in India using traditional techniques.

Each piece is handmade with care and produced through a responsible approach. As a result, slight variations in size, colour, shape, or weave may occur from one bag to another. These are not imperfections, but part of the craftsmanship that makes every piece unique and full of character.

Recycled plastic is strong, durable, and helps give new life to existing materials. However, please note that colours may transfer in hot or humid conditions, prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause slight fading, and the bag may naturally evolve over time with use.

The silk pouch included with your bag is designed to keep your essentials organised. It is also used to protect your bag during shipping, as each bag is carefully packed inside the pouch before being sent to you.

Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth or rinse it under running water. Avoid machine washing, soaking, tumble drying, bleach, and harsh cleaning products. Let it air dry naturally and avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods. To help maintain its shape, we recommend not overfilling the bag.
To reduce unnecessary waste, our bags are shipped without additional stuffing. Any creases from shipping can easily be adjusted by hand, and the bag will naturally settle back into shape.
